Rio Park's Before and After
Those who come to the Rio Park on the 22nd of July 2011 will take part of one of the most distinguished days of its history: the double celebration of its 40th Anniversary and the Manager’s 70th Birthday! (I know he doesn’t look like it, does he?!?!)
Today we start the 15-day-countdown! Special food and entertainment, secrets of its history to be revealed, and some small surprises will be waiting for you at 3pm.
Mr Jose Miralpeix had just turned 30 when he started managing the newly opened Rio Park Hotel, back in 1971.
Over this 40 years, the Rio Park has seen many generations of Guests (and even employees!) pass by, has experienced different refurbishments, received several awards…and now we would like to thank those who chose us, those who came back year after year, those who recommended us, those who follow us on Facebook and leave a review on Trip Advisor, those who are still coming! A huge ‘THANK YOU’ to all of you who made this possible!!!

Congratulations on your anniversary.
Rio Park is the best Holiday Hotel I have ever stayed at. My grandson keeps asking, ‘When are we going to the Rio Park’.

Best Hotel we’ve ever stayed in, my mom and dad have been coming here for years and last year we came with them and found out what a fabulous hotel it is. The most friendliest staff and a homely feeling you get as soon as you come through the door. Wish we could be with you on your special day and would like to wish the manager a very happy 70th birthday from the Davis and Clayton families from Walsall.

My wife Jean and I have stayed here regularly and have always been impressed by the staff and the quality of the food. The Manager is a fun character and very approachable. We live in Spain and are driving up to Rio Park to stay for the New Year. We have recommended this Hotel to friends and they all have agreed what a lovely Hotel it is to stay in, Good Prices, Good Food and a very pleasant atmosphere.

Rio is such a nice place to visit. I not only like the breath taking views but the people also. People their are really courteous and welcoming.
i stayed at the hotel rio park in march for two weeks and it is the best hotel i have stayed at.the staff cannot do enough for you.the food is excellent..i really like it there and i am going again in june..
