Mr. Miguel Bordera, our current Manager of the MedPlaya Hotel Riviera is going to enjoy a well earned retirement at the end of this month, after 44 years working in MedPlaya.

Miguel, (as he is known by many customers,  colleagues and his friends) has had an illustrious career in tourism, having worked at the very cutting edge of mass tourism in Spain from the 1970’s onwards. Having started with MedPlaya as a receptionist in the Hotel Regente in Benidorm, Miguel was soon promoted and moved to the Costa del Sol becoming the Manager of the Hotel Bali.

As MedPlaya grew as a company, Miguel advanced with them and became the Regional Manager for the Costa del Sol.

With over 40 years experience of working in hotels and alongside major Tour Operators such as Thomson, Miguel has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of customer needs, and how to match them with the efficient running of a hotel.

We sincerely wish Miguel the very best  for his retirement. His dedication to ensuring our guests have enjoyed great holidays with MedPlaya has been constant and this is always reflected in the feedback we receive back from our guests.

As Miguel lives in the Costa del Sol he is based in a beautiful area to start his new chapter of life.
