Benidorm is a great tourist city that offers thousands of activities for all ages and tastes: its location between sea and mountain makes it a place where things never end. Beyond going to the beach today we bring you a few activities that you can do in Benidorm for free and throughout the year.

If you like to go for a walk, we recommend climbing Sierra Helada, a place declared a Natural Park of the Valencian Community, which we will reach after a little more than 2 km. It is a well signposted walk with rest and picnic areas, easy to access and with great views. Don’t forget to take a lot of pictures!

For the fans of the flea markets, Benidorm is also a good place due to its wide range of products. The most interesting are the Mercadillo de Foietes, which is held every Wednesday from 8 am to 1 pm, the Mercadillo del Pueblo, on Wednesdays and Sunday mornings and the Cisne Mercadillo with a wide range of antiques.

On the other hand, if you enjoy the night more than the day, you can opt for a walk to La Cruz to observe the lights of the city that break the darkness. A more exciting plan? There’s always a party in Benidorm! In June San Juan, in July the Maritime procession in Playa de Poniente, in August the Gala del Tossal, in autumn the Battle between Moors and Christians, in November the Patron Saint’s Day Festivities and many more. You’ll never get bored!
