Selwo Aventura, located in Estepona, was opened in 1999 and since its opening has stood out as a park with its numerous additions, arrival of new species and facilities, and development of the featured programs for conservation  and reproduction of endangered species.

Selwo Aventura EsteponaIn Selwo Aventura have lived symbolic and meaningful births to the world fauna as Bengal tigers, bald ibises, Angolensis giraffes, red pandas, emperor tamarins, European bison … and in 2008, the birth of the first Asian elephant in Spain. The “giant” baby named Kanvar, Prince in Hindi, became a prominent part of the short but intense history of Selwo Aventura and is present in the logo of the park debuted in the 2009 season on the occasion of its tenth anniversary.

In Selwo Aventura live in semi-freedom and similar to their natural habitat over 2000 animals from all over the planet, where visitors can observe them from very close distance. The tour through this fascinating landscape is done on foot and all-terrain trucks exploring exclusive and comfortable routes that take visitors to African and other continents without leaving the Costa del Sol scenery. Moreover Selwo Aventura has several areas for rest and refreshment.

Moreover Selwo Aventura offers several exhibitions, like birds of prey, snakes, and spectacular adventure activities: suspension bridges, camel rides, archery and Ziwa, sets Europe’s longest Tyrolean traverse.
