A trip to the Origins of Spanish Shortbread
The city of Estepa (in the province of Seville) is considered the capital of the shortbread (spanish: polvorón). This traditional Christmas dessert has been manufactured in the city for more than a century, there are until today 23 companies involved in manufacturing about 18,000 tons of Christmas sweets per year.
