Only Benidorm can boast an annual average of 80% hotel occupancy. The leisure it offers encourages a recurrent return. Its fantastic beaches with optimal equipment, promenades, restaurants, terraces … And always accompanied by a good weather! However, not everyone likes to spend the day lying on the sand, so we propose alternatives to not have to worry about finding a space on their beaches.

Watch the Benidorm skyline

Did you know that Benidorm is the second city in the world with more skyscrapers per inhabitant? Yes, only surpassed by New York. And it is this large number of skyscrapers that makes the Benidorm skyline is one of the most valued in Spain. In addition, this feature makes it a unique city, as it is not usual that cities that are not financial or economic centers have such a number of skyscrapers.

Visit Benidorm Island

One of the best places to observe the skyline is from the sea. And we can’t think of a better way to do it than taking advantage of the visit to another point you can’t miss, Benidorm Island, a small uninhabited island located about 3 kilometers from the beach. It is part of the Sierra Helada Natural Park, thanks to its flora, fauna and sea beds, which you can enjoy thanks to the daily excursions from the port of Benidorm to the island and allow you to observe them from the same boat.

A place where the sea and the mountain are mixed giving place to an ideal environment for lovers of hiking and nature. Cliffs of more than 300 meters, viewpoints, the lighthouse of Albir and spectacular views will accompany you during the route. Wear good trainers and enjoy!

Admire the Mediterranean from Benidorm Castle

Known as the “Balcony of the Mediterranean” this viewpoint is one of the most visited places in the city. If you stay in one of the hotels in Benidorm on the Poniente beach or on the Levante beach, you will be very close to it, as it is located on a large rock that separates the two beaches. Just at this point was the fortress that defended Benidorm from the attack of pirates, hence its name.
